Inner Mongolia's Ceke Port imported nearly 1.53 million tonne of raw coal from Mongolia in the first half of this year, a surge of 1.71 times year on year, sources reported.

The imports in June are estimated to 512.5 thousand tonnes, based on the volume of some 1.015 million tonnes in the first five months.

Located in Ejina Banner, Ceke Port is the third largest port in Inner Mongolia. It imported 1.80 million tonnes coal in 2008, showed customs data.
