Shanxi Q3 coal output at 58.1 mln T

Shanxi, the major coal producing province in China, saw its coal output at 58.1 million tonnes in the third quarter, sources reported, citing Shanxi Coal Industry Bureau.

The bureau also said the province's coal output has accumulated to 431.35 million tonnes in the first three quarters, and during the same period of time, five state-owned coal enterprises in Shanxi achieved 168.2 yuan of coal sales in total, with pre-tax profit amounting to 14.4 billion yuan, up 2.5 billion yuan or 19.58 percent on year.
